Special Etiquette of Making Du'a in Haramain
1. Begin with Hamd & Salawat
Always commence your supplications by praising Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and sending blessings upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Hadith confirms prayers remain suspended until Salawat is sent.
2. Firm Conviction (Yaqeen)
Supplicate with full conviction that Allah hears you. Do not say "O Allah forgive me if You will," but ask with urgent determination and tears of humility.
3. Du'a for Others in Secret
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The prayer of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will definitely be answered. An angel says: 'Ameen, and for you the same.'" (Sahih Muslim).
